Has long reddish brown hair, blue eyes, and has grown about an inch since her freshman year. She doesn't wear much make-up, but has embraced using it a little more now that she's a year older and she can manage to do it herself. She likes dressing up for dances and special occasions, and wears clothes a little nicer than she used to when she's not in her school uniform, though she still keeps it mainly casual. Every year she seems to grow more and more into being a lady and not an awkward teenager, and it's very apparent that she's gone through some changes over the last summer. Puberty at its finest.

Cilla is known as the welcome wagon among Finchwood students. She's overly friendly to new people and tries her best to make them feel welcome, not only in the Swords house, but at Finchwood as a whole. She didn't grow up with any siblings of her own so she took on responsibility of looking after her cousin after her uncle died, making sure she ate and didn't dwell on the bad things constantly, thus her nurturing nature spawned and grew. She's extremely loyal and sometimes trusts new people far too easily. She wants to see the best in everyone and be a good friend, but she can be easily manipulated when people are witty enough to try.
Sometimes she lacks basic common sense but she's fairly intelligent, a quick learner, and excels in almost all of her classes. Training still gives her a hard time and it frustrates her to no end. She has an issue with asking for help and often lets things that bother her bottle up inside until she gets so angry she explodes. It doesn't happen too often, but it sure does terrify everyone when she's usually known as the cheerful girl who wouldn't hurt a soul.
A lot of Cilla's frustrations come from being an overachiever. She worries constantly about things going wrong even when her grades are up and she hasn't failed an exam, but she wants so badly to become a doctor after graduation that she can't help herself. Between that, and friends, and boys, and her parents, Cilla's a bit of a wreck at times and may need to be shaken repeatedly. Although, at the end of the day she'll still put the needs of others before her own because she's a good friend.
Boys make her nervous. The possibility of one liking her makes her even more nervous. There was a boy back her freshman year of high school who liked her and they dated very briefly, but he turned out to be gay and she's been convinced ever since that it was her fault he ran in opposite direction. Logically, she knows that probably isn't true, but she's her and that's just the way it is. Being friends with boys is fine, but if she thinks they're cute or they start to flirt with her she starts to become super uncomfortable and unable to think properly.
Since her first year ended she's grown a bit more anxiety ridden than usual. She's nervous about her first time going into the shadow realm and possibly failing to protect her squad. But if something happens to one of her friends, she'll still be the one to dive in head first after them.
SKILLS
[First-aid]: Certified in both First-aid and CPR. Knows more than the basics from reading and watching videos, so she theoretically could take care of quite a bit of problems before needing help. Stitching something up, stabilizing a broken bone, etc.
[American Sign Language]: Learning a language was at the top of her list and she thought ASL would be one of the most helpful to others. She's quite fluent in it (but not perfect) and is trying to learn Spanish next.
HISTORY
Family:
Evan Bell, father. Retired major league baseball player for the Texas Rangers.
Morgan Edwards-Bell, mother. Zoologist.
Sasha Edwards, cousin. Student at UCLA.
Hometown: Voorheesville, New York
Morgan Edwards was a Zoologist interning at an Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Texas when she was reunited with Evan Bell, her school crush and a handsome baseball player who had just dropped back into town after a long season. It was not a year later that the two married, soon after welcoming the birth of their first and only child, Priscilla, who they fondly named after Morgan's favorite Tiger. A sanctuary for exotic DANGEROUS animals wasn't exactly the ideal place to raise a child, but with Morgan attached to her job and Evan constantly traveling for work, they couldn't bring themselves to find the time to settle someplace new. During their time there, a gorilla escaped after newly arriving from a sanctuary in Florida. Cilla had been watching a safe distance away but the gorilla broke away and nearly crashed into the 3-year-old. If someone hadn't been near by to quickly grab her she most definitely would have been crushed on impact. It was then decided by her parents that they couldn't both continue to work while she was so young, so Morgan packed up with Cilla and they moved back to her mother's hometown in Voorheesville, New York. Evan would still come home to visit whenever he could, but it wasn't normally often enough.
Cilla was too young to really understand anything other than all the cool animals were gone, but she liked her new home. She could see an amazing view of the sun rising and setting, and there was a large area of land that was secluded from prying eyes, so she hoped one day that her father would teach her how to play baseball. Her mother eventually began to work part time and would sometimes bring home strange new animals to briefly look after (more recently being a chipmunk who couldn't be released into the wild) which was always an exciting and fun time in the home.
It was just before Cilla was supposed to start her first year of high school when tragedy found her family. Morgan's younger brother, who was also a zoologist, became violently ill after returning home from examining lions in the wild. Within a couple of months, Peter passed away, leaving behind a wife and their teenage daughter Sasha. With her mother so stricken with grief over his loss, Sasha spent most of her time with Cilla and one of their neighbors. Cilla immediately tried her best to keep her mind off her worries and sadness, distracting her with movie marathons, pizza, and college planning. She hated seeing her sad and her instinct was always to try to help others when they needed it, especially family. Sasha mostly wanted to be left alone at first, but with Cilla's persistence she eventually gave in and started to feel better.
Not too soon after that there was a pile of acceptance letters to rummage through, and Sasha eventually choose UCLA and headed off to California with high hopes for a fresh start, leaving Cilla behind for what she feared would be forever. That's when she heard about Finchwood from a friend and decided maybe a change of scenery would do her some good too. Naturally, she was taken back a little once she knew what Finchwood REALLY was about. She was someone who wanted to heal people, not fight. She also wanted to keep everyone safe, so she felt since they had chose her that she needed to step up and join. It took some getting used to before she finally began to settle in, being so far away from her mother for the first time was hard, but she had so much in common with her roommates that she knew it was where she belonged.
With guidance from Lenore and Irene, she learned more about herself and her persona and started along the path towards becoming a magic user. She's tried so hard to learn combat with a weapon, she still does, but it's really not her forte at all. She still keeps it as a back up, mostly because she's required to, but magic is where she excels.
After spending the summer at home, she's excited and somewhat nervous to get back to school and continue her training. She hopes she doesn't let anyone down.
COMBAT
ACADEMICS
Core Classes: English, Mathematics, Science*, Social Studies*, Training.
Elective Classes: Life Skills
Clubs: Choir, Community Outreach.
General Performance: Cilla does well in all of her classes except for training. Her magic skills are ace, but she utterly sucks at any sort of hand to hand combat and basically keeps her weapon as a backup plan and a last resort. She loves all of her other classes and is in honors science and social studies, which are her favorite.
